Santa’s Stagers Transform Judson Center
From Ho-Hum to Ho! Ho! Ho!

Often, during the holidays, good Samaritans focus their attention on under privileged children and senior citizens in the community. Unfortunately, there is a large group of people who are overlooked. Adults with developmental disabilities were the happy recipients of some much-needed holiday cheer from Staging Places a home staging company in the Metro Detroit area.
The Judson Center community room is where adults with developmental disabilities meet several times a week to be transported to jobs at places including Kroger and Salvation Army stores. They work very hard and ought to have a cheerful holiday atmosphere to relax in and enjoy. Staging Places, with the help of family and friends, transformed the space from ho hum to Ho! Ho! Ho!
Heather Durren, owner of Staging Places of Beverly Hills, decided on the theme Christmas in Candyland and planned the space that was staged. She said, “I have met the adults that use the center and they are so pleased that we took the time to make their space beautiful."
